PERIODONTAL DISEASE!

Do you have it? If you do, what can you do about it?

What is it? Periodontal disease is a chronic (that is non-painful) type of infection of the gums that can lead to the loss of all of your teeth!

It begins by causing slight redness and a little swelling of the gums around the edges of the teeth. The next stage can come at any time and results in damage to the bone around the teeth. When enough bone is lost. the teeth can become loose or developed painful infections! THERE ARE USUALLY NO WARNING SYMPTOMS UNTIL IT IS TOO LATE!

Advanced Periodontal disease

Do you have it? The only way you can know if you have Periodontal Disease (Gum disease) is to go to a dentist that gives special Periodontal (gum) screening examinations. Some dentists perform this special examination others do not. We do perform this type of gum screening examination with every check—up and so we are able to detect Periodontal Disease at a very early stage
